The Survivors of Oakhurst arrive at the ginormous gates of Gauntlgrym. Hjar opens them and they become weightless. the party then has an audience with prince Grym, who in return for Sashra, will reward them with Aleana and passage to the surface. Before surfacing, a brass guard tests whether the part to see if they share blood with the king, they are clean and pass through. On the surface, beaches of Dormani are packed with refugees. The party recruits the help of a water Genasi, Nuratchalanutawa, a Tortle, Abies and a Mousefolk, Smig, to help the party flee the capital. As events transpired, the party finds themselves pledged to aid Abies in his pilgrimage to the Nameless Kingdom. Hjar takes it upon himself to look after a homeless Dragonborn girl, named by Hjar as 'Gerty'. Whilst trying to escape through a gatehouse, the party was not successful in gaining access, they were teleported to the flameguard for execution. Despite the intimidation, the party felt in the presence of not only the flameguard but the Dragon Emperor, they succeeded in using their foreign magic offensively. Pardus communed with his crystal that seemed to tip fate in his favour as Michael returned with a fleet from Majesty who sought to take control of Dorun. Everyone escaped and two Great Drakes did battle. Minis Glym and Dissectum Anguis. Michael shared his tale with Hjar and Pardus. Pardus suddenly left due to personal motivations. Hjar, the girl, Michael, Aleana and Abies began their journey to Uild, the ruins of the Nameless Kingdom.
